Yuelu Academy

Yuelu Academy is one of the four famed ancient academies in China, for higher learning, academic activities and culture exchange, called “Millennium Institution”. Located at Mount Yuelu Scenic zone, west bank of the Xiang River Changsha city, it is one of the four ancient academies in China. In 1988, it was honored National emphasis cultural relic unit and a very major visit place within Yuelu Scenic zone. Yuelu Academy originally founded in year 976AD, the year of the Song Dynasty under the reign of Emperor Kaibao. With over 1,000 years’ changes and development, now it is Hunan University. Till now, this Millennium Institution recruits students as before for a higher education.
Lushan Temple

Lushan Temple is located in middle Mount Yuelu west bank of Xiang river Changsha city. It was one of the most ancient temples in Hunan which was built in Western Jin Dynasty (268AD), over 1,700 years ago. Besides it is the earliest historical remains on Buddhism in Hunan.
Yunlu Palace

Located in the west peak of Mount Yuelu, Yunlu Palace is a Taoist place. It can be date back to Ming Dynasty (1478) and expanded in Jiajing years (1522-1566).
