Impressive Karst Landscape in South China

The area of karst region in China is the biggest in the world, and the landforms of karst are also quite complete.The karst regions mainly distribute in Guangxi,Yunnan and Guizhou province. Many attractions in South China are contained into top 10 China tour package.
In 2007 ,South China Karst was listed in the World Natural Heritage Site.
South China Karst includes three places in China,they are:
Stone Forest in Yunnan

In Yunnan, Shilin is a must-see tourist attraction second only to Shangri-la adventure.
Shilin 石林, literally Stone Forest, is a notable set of karst formations in Shilin County, in the Yunnan province of southwest China, approximately 85 km from the city of Kunming. The tall rocks seem to emanate from the ground in the manner of stalagmites, with many looking like trees made of stone, creating the illusion of a forest made of stone.

Libo Karst Region in Guizhou

Libo Cone Karst Nominated Site of South China Karst application for World Natural Heritage lies in Libo County, South Guizhou Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, and has a mean altitude of 747m ranging from 385 to 1109m.
Wulong Karst Region in Chongqing

A newly included natural scenery and hiking highlight in the UNESCO World Heritage List is the Wulong Karst. It has become one of the major attractions around Chongqing for people interested in primitive scenic areas, gorges, wildlife and caves. Wulong is one of the regions named on the World Heritage List’s South China Karst. Other areas named are Libo Karst and Shilin Karst. Three sites in Wulong are thought to be the most important. They are Furong Cave, the Three Natural Bridges, and the Houping Tiankengs.
The view in the south China is totally different from that of modern cities in China such as Beijing and Xian. If you have had a Shanghai travel, you may can try to visit the natural south China.
