I am always conjured up with the image of the natural and beautiful natural scenery. I really very like the natural beauty. I usually climb mountain and visit the nearby picturesque suburbs on weekends. Even though I haven't visit all the beautiful and natural places in China, I want to introduce these places in my diary. Now let's begin our China natural scenery tours.
1. Li River
The Li River from Zhujiang Pier (Guilin city suburbs) to Yangshuo is like an artist's masterpiece. The landscape is decorated with startling hills, steep cliffs, fantastic caves and farming villages, and is lined with bamboo groves. In a Chinese poem it is written: "The river is a green silk ribbon, and the hills are jade hairpins".
2. Lake Namtso
Lake Namtso means "holy lake" in the Tibetan language. At an elevation of 4,718 meters, it is the highest-altitude salt lake in the world. The water in the lake for the most part arises from rains, melted ice and snow of Nyenchen Tonglha Mountains and the inflow of crooks and streams, hence the lake is very clear and limpid. With the lake surface assuming sky blue, the lake and the sky seem to be one and undivided, which may make visitors feel themselves in a fairy land if they have a stroll by the lake.
3. Yangtze River
The Yangtze is the third longest river in the World, but the longest river within a single country. The Yangtze River has a good case for being the most interesting and popular river in the world. It has the widest variety of outstanding tourist attractions, scenery and culture along its length, all contained within China, and holds several world records. Cruising on Yangtze River will feast your eyes.
4. Guizhou: Huangguoshu Waterfall
The highest waterfall in Asia, majestic Huangguoshu "Yellow Fruit Tree" Waterfall plunges a dramatic 77.8 meters across a 101-meter-wide span. It's one of a handful of mammoth waterfalls in the world that's accessible for viewing from almost any angle -- from above, below, front, back, left or right. The best visiting season is June to August, when the water reaches a peak flow of 700 cubic meters per second.
