Where to start travelling in Beijing alone

If you want your China tours beginning with Beijing alone, where to start travelling in Beijing?

Start from Jingshan Mountain.Climbing to the top of Jingshan Mountain (about half an hour), you will get a panoramic view of Forbidden City. Then enter ForbiddenCity from
Shen Wu Men (Gate of Godly Prowess). The journey will take you 3 to 4 hours.

 After visiting Forbidden city, walk toward the south to Tiananmen Square. If you like
museum, you can visit national museum beside the square.The Great Hall of People and Mao Zedong
 Memorial Hall are not far away from Tiananmen Square.

Another choice is: start from the square, then enter Forbidden city. After visiting
Forbidden City, climb the Jinshan Mountain from back gate of Forbidden City. Get into
Beihai Park from the east gate of Jiangshan Mountain.
